It's not important in the slightest. Debates among common folk is bullshit and done to stroke the winners ego without really achieving anything. Conversations don't do shit. Petitions are laughable. Your voice doesn't matter. You and a mute person could have your conditions switched and you would still have the same voice you had as before which is no voice at all. Your vote doesn't matter, you don't matter and your patriotism doesn't matter.

Identity politics is the most powerful weapon the rich have, so long as people will bicker among themselves over meaningless shit, the rich shall continue to rule.

Tribalism is something that humanity deeply loves doing, we have been doing it our entire existence, so I doubt humanity will ever learn to get rid of it either.
