Most other animals seem to have a typical build for their type with minimal deviation from it. Take a type of dogs for example, all have literally same build and deviation to either ends is minimal. Whereas humans are more flexible in this regard due to lack of constant pressure to streamline into one typical build and general look, thus greater deviation, range, variance. If humans were more like animals, there would be one average look, everyone would be close to that with slight deviation, we would still be unique as individual, but appearance wise having minimal deviation from the mean build
