Most studies I've seen on indigenous (Amerindians, melanisids, Pygmys) populations point to a similar trend. Evolution, natural and sexual selection are dependent on the environment so logically it wouldn't make sense that all populations have the same natural pattern in choosing mates. I watched a social expriment video yesterday. A girl basically wants help of the random guys because she is followed by some stranger. All the "nice guy" types fear and dont help and all the "bad boy" types help the girl. This is exactly why women want bad boys.
