Most of the things we consider ugly are grounded in health deficiencies. A human in his prime and peak health will have a strong well developed bone structure, clear skin and a full head of hair. All of those things are signs of youth, good health and fitness. There's also the hormonal aspect of sexual dimorphism, high T masculinity in men and high E femininity in women. All of which can be seen on your face.

You may not see their bodies, but who do you think is stronger and healthier just off their faces?

It doesn't matter if you want to reproduce or not. Caring about the genetic quality of your offspring is not a conscious effort, it's subconsciously ingrained in you. Sexual attraction may have evolved as a means to bring about reproduction, but even if you decide you don't want to reproduce, that's not going to erase all of the entire basis of how sexual attraction works.
