i was doing 2 hours of cardio for 6 months. not clever but i couldn't stick to a diet with that hormonal inbalance and depression.
hardwork on cardio is the only way if you cannot keep your mouth shut.

im not a fatcel but i have gone up to 215-230 and back down to 170-190 multiple times over the years. u gotta count ur calories and make smart choices. you want to eat a lot of foods that are high volume and low calorie (think vegetables, fruits, egg whites, plain chicken breast).

then u need to make sure that ur diet is sustainable. so if u like chocolate, make some sort of chocolate protein cake and drench it in chocolate 0 calorie walden farms syrup. if u like chips, find some sort of low fat cracker and dip it in some low fat hummus (if u like that).

read the labels at the grocery store, sometimes u can find shit that seems tasty and is relatively low in fat (more fat typically racks of cals quickly, 1g of fat is 9 cal, 1g of carb is 4 cal, 1 g protein 4 cals).

also keep ur diet higher protein because that leads to more satiety. and if u eat high volume foods ull lower ghrelin (which is a hormone that signals that ur hungry when ur stomach isn't stretched)... so think! stretch ur stomach with lots of salad and fruit to lower ghrelin!

also, start cardiomaxxxing, get up to 50 mpw of running (start slow maybe 6 miles the first week, then increase 10% a week) or get a bike trainer and attach ur bike to it indoors, speed monitor and zwift to make the cardio more fun. u can aim to burn 1000+calories a day through that. stick to LDSS cardio. greg doucette has some good vids on this, i like some of his food recipes, real tasty and low cal. i just made some egg white french toast yesterday with walden farms blueberry syrup, blackberries, cottage cheese and a french press of black coffee. super tasty tbh and very low cal.

Wow, thanks bro. So should I avoid breads altogether?
And aren’t fruit and vegetables high in carbs tho?

i wasn't eating that bad. just a dessert like puding, carbs like bread etc. also pizza lol.
i guess it's enough but if you lose weight like an idiot, you get like a flash.
yo-yo effect is pretty bad.

how much kilos lost per week each time ?
2~2,5.

btw i wasn't even go out before doing cardios, so maybe sudden change of physical activity count also did help.
i was a programmer so my body started to become jelly form before all this lol.

Some vegetables, but spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, no. With fruits you need to be careful, too many bananas can mess u up but a box of strawberries or watermelon? No way. I guarantee that if you just up your vegetable/fruit intake, you'll feel fuller and you'll be eating less calories.

I'm not a fan of restricitng foods, it's about the calories and making food choices that lead to more satiety (high protein and more veggies/fruits). So bread is fine as long as you don't drench it in olive oil and butter. I eat bread every day and am dropping weight.

Also, somebody will tell u that u can eat pizza and drop weight. that is true but it honestly doesn't tell the full story. say ur maintenance calories are 2500 and you need to eat 2200 calories to lose some weight. if a slice of pizza is 400 calories, you can eat it and still lose weight if you hit your target of staying at 2200 calories for the entire day. BUT, what do you think will make u more full? a slice of pizza or 3 pieces of white bread + a box of strawberries w/fat free whipped cream (which is also around 400 calories). the bread and the strawberries because it's more volume.

so it's not about the specific foods, it's about the calories and the volume of the foods ur eating.

I think you also have 4 choices of cardio. Running, rowing, cycling (on a bike trainer, not some machine (airdyne is only good for HITT)), or swimming. Everything else kinda sucks for burning a lot of calories. 1000+ cals a day burned + a good diet, no way you'll stay fat. Unless you have an insane amount of fat cells.

This, basically. Jfl at people saying "muhh carbs are poison".

Its all about finding foods that are low calorie dense in order to fill you up.

I guaruntee youll lose weight if you ate something along the lines of poatatos, low calorie meats and fruits and veg rather than muuhhhh keto.

Also cardio is useful af.
