Ex-girlfriend called me ugly while talking with other guy

This was a very sad and painful moment for me and 100% really happened.

I was going out with a cute girl and she would say, she loves me, etc. We would also kiss, etc. and do lots of couples stuff. But after a short period (a month or so), she was talking to another guy. This "Other guy" happened to be my Chad friend.

What followed was brutal. She sent a voice message on whatsapp to him. There were female friends of hers with her in the background.
Basically this happened:
Girlfriend: "You see, Chad, I like you, but I am still together with metagross. He may not be the best-looking, but... "
Female friend of hers interrupts the voice message: "He's ugly! [laughter]"
Girlfriend: "Well, yes, he's ugly, but I still love him. He's my boyfriend and he has such a nice character."
[Some more giggling and making fun of my looks]

This was PRETTY BRUTAL for me to hear. Absolutely fucking over for me. Needless to say that my "very good character" wasn't enough to keep this relationship.

The sad truth is that you can't fucking escape the blackpill. You see it everywhere. Maybe sometimes it's a little exaggerated on this site, but it's always out there, for you to see.

We are still friends. He is a good friend of mine. He was the one who showed me the Voice message she sent to him.
He is a very good looking guy, but he's a good guy when it comes to friendships.
