i have been using tretinoin 0.025% for around 1-2 months its not a long time but ive noticed huge changes with my hyperpigmentation and scars ill be giving u some advice and mistakes ive done when i started out.
experience: the first days i saw no difference and my skin felt the same, day 3-4 my skin started flaking a lot and it became really dry, first I thought it was just cell turnover so i took a brake from tretinoin for around 2 days and started using it consistently again after 1 week i my skin became really bright, but face started burning whenever i touched it or moisturized it.
mistake most people make: dont start putting it on ur face everyday its just gonna get irretated and really flaky like mine take a break each day until ur skin is used to it and bump it up to 0.05% for faster results and never forget to wear ur sunscreen on sunny days i learnt it the hard way, the purging phase isnt as bad as people make it seem u wont get any acne ur skin will just be flaky for a little time and get kinda dry.
