if i get severe brain damage but im still alive is that person still me

depends on how u define me imo, if you think you are intrinsically alpha/sigma male or provider or smth and you aren't after brain damage no it's not u, but if you're consious I don't see how that would be different from waking up on a normal day

i personally suspect the idea is pushed so hospitals can pull the life support/harvest your organs
