It’s not that he would lose appeal. He would look better, but the key is that it wouldn’t fit in with his character that you already known well. There’s where your dissociation is coming from.

In the show you can see he has vulnerabilities and is kind of an underdog. If he was a full blown chad it would look a bit confusing.
