If you actually had surgery with one of the most reputable surgeons out there and you got botched there is no way you are still supporting it, saying it could work with a better doctor. You are probably lying or very delusional

100% not fully reversible because you will still get skin laxity after they remove it , but at least you won't have a permanently disfigured chin with genio. Or even better stick to high g fillers, you can still obtain good results and it can't botch you permanently

i feel the skin laxity would be very minimal if it's removed early. when secured properly it shouldn't shift or cause bone erosion either, i would technically benefit from double jaw surgery for muh sleep apnea but i just can't ignore how minimal the aesthetic benefit is in most before and afters. for the price it's not even worth doing for most people

You said you had an asymmetry so like I said it's probably in your jaw too, nobody has an asymmetrical chin unless some rare deformities. You probably have tmj and clenching issues if I had to guess. Your posture is dog shit too probably, neck imbalances and all that. Maybe fix that before thinking about a stupid implant that is not gonna do anything and probably end up making you look worse.
