A man is born, raised, marries, has children, grows old, and dies.. having never left his village.
For most humans who've ever lived, that was life. To remain within that small radius, left wondering what lies beyond the horizons..

Islands that nobody has set foot on for 100s of years. And that nobody will ever step foot on in the next 100s of years:
1760465671043

Ancient temples hidden deep in the Amazon rainforest, untouched for close to 2000 years:
1760465871927

There is an entire maze, a labyrinth of sorts, of underground tunnels that stretch close to 300 KM, under the city of Paris. Most of it unexplored for centuries.. nobody has gone down that specific path.
Granted most of this is restricted, but if prepped and with friends, you can enter through one of the scattered entrances:
1760630441684
1760630559938
1760630572689

Every individual skull holding the remnants of someone's story. A person who, like you, had family, friends, dreams and fears.

It's easy to get carried away with what society has convinced us to prioritise
We get caught up overvaluing certain aspects of life, which forces us to undervalue others
We end up losing track of what would bring us fulfilment

Step outside these confines you've been handed

From being huddled with a group of friends, gazing into the starry desert night:
1760654744817
1760654637217

To waking up to a misty lake by the woods:
1760741115036
1760742264775

From climbing the highest peaks poking through the clouds:
1760742301133
1760742823015

To diving beneath the ocean's glassy surface:
1760743585712
1760744968801

Whether you're at the mercy of the tumultuous waves:
1760743085794
1760744271411

Or the grace of a quiet, sunlit shore:
1760742114444
1760744097296

Go where there's very few (if any) humans
To experience true nature

You can go by ship
I'm planning on doing this in a few years
plane is the safest way to travel by far, its just a fear of mine i have no idea why.

a ship/cruise would be way way more enjoyable however even if it takes alot longer to get to your destination, its a vacation of its own

Is it a good film?
It's Halloween, I might give it a watch

Meh travelling is overrated. You could see most these kind of stuff online/VR nowadays on way better angles than you'll likely see IRL anyways
It's for the experience. Similar to what Outdoorboys do:

Only very few places can you see online

Quite scary, I always find found footage styled movies disturbing.

This has always been my dream, to travel the world and just create as many memories and experiences as possible. It still is my dream, and my aspiration in life, it's just been delayed by my ascension.

It's honestly really crazy to think about how much in this world there is to experience, all the different people, landscapes, cultures. I don't care much about money, just making enough to sustain my travelling is good enough. I don't want to be rich, as long as i end up being somewhat middle class / comfortable when i settle down i'll be happy. What really matters is getting to live your life to the fullest, especially while young. To spend the night under the full moon in a remote place with strangers you've never met before, climb a coconut tree in the pacific, go sandboarding in peru, interview an old monk in a tibetan monestary, get drunk with locals in a rural japenese izakaya, go clubbing in Barcelona. When I'm 80 years old lying on my death bed, I want to be able to say that I have truly lived, passing with no regrets.

Sometimes i see people that started to live this travel lifestyle at my current age, this guy for example

This kind of makes me a bit sad, knowing that i sort of wasted my teenage years away, and that i am behind compared to these people. But on the flipside, it's far from over. Actually it's a real privilege that i can even dream of this, and make this lifestyle a possibility in a few years. Most people in this world are born into poverty, and most of the ones that aren't still never end up living their lifes to the fullest. Honestly I'm past the "i missed out" mindset, because i'm still 18 and hopefully i'll be able to start doing this stuff around 20 or 21. I'll try to plan some "lifemaxxing" stuff while in my ascension as well, i actually have a interrail ticket for next summer so maybe i'll get someone to go with me or i'll go alone idk. If i do go, i'll get a camera and try to learn some cinematography like the clip i just showed above. So yeah, some travelling before ascending is possible and i will try to, instead of thinking in a BP mindset "oh i'll live life after i ascend" because that is truly stupidity. Change is gradual, not instant, and i have to set myself up for this life and not just "wait" for it to arrive at my doorstep. I am not a dreamer, I am a realist.

I probably differ from most people on this website in terms of the content of my character, the only reason I'm on here is for information on how to ascend. And probably also because I'm lonely and seeking connection, like i'm doing with this post lol. Everything else i honestly dislike about this website. But this post was really cool though

Anthony Bourdain was a man who took his own life, but IMO he had a way more interesting life then any Jordan Barret or Chico ever will have. Looks matter, but they aren't everything. (bourdain is pretty good looking though with that being said lol)

This edit of him really speaks to me, i have it saved. It really embodies how i want to live my life i suppose. Especially that one clip of him sitting on a sand dune with the scarf, really cool.

"If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food."

expecting some DNRs as this got really long but idc i wrote this because i found it fun myself

Great post dude, read every word :Comfy:

I resonate with this deeply. Like you, I also find everybody around me caught up in cages. Not willing to go out and explore
I want to experience what this Earth has to offer to the fullest, before I leave it

It's such a beautiful planet and very very few people achieve that sense of completeness that we're aiming for.
A lot that do or aim to do, do it partly for the validation from others. But that isn't the case for me (or you I believe). I want to do it because it's fulfilling

It's a shame we only have ~100yrs, of which maybe 60 are usable for this pursuit.
Imagine having the ability to navigate through every rainforest.. ride through every desert.. bathe in every river.. see every animal (both extant and extinct).
Go deep into the Arctic where no man has set foot. Where you're the only human in that 1000km radius

We see eye to eye on other things too, such as how top models don't have the desirable lives people here make them out to be.
I agree with you about everything, other than one thing. Personally, I think it's best we earn some money now. Work extremely hard in your 20s, and you'll be set for 30s and onwards, even if you might have more responsibilities
At least that's my plan

Btw, I feel you might like the following people: Forrest Galante (he appears on JRE), Paul Rosalie (also on JRE), Steve Irwin, David Attenborough, Outdoor Boys
