yes.
its common sense when you extract them you create a gap and then your front teeth come back and creates retraction and a flat and small face
expand or extract wisdom teeth at last

I had 4 premolars removed and my maxilla is normal.

By expand you mean what?
 
Only extractions that don’t have a super high risk of facial changes are wisdoms
 
expanding your palate using removable expanders or mse
I thought so, but I still need palate expansion to make my face a little wider as my lower third is too small
.
 
good to know, I thought it would be the opposite.
I had mine pulled a while ago and haven’t seen any changes

Some chads on the forum like Amnesia and Pneumo also had theirs removed and there was no changes

Barrett had 8 teeth pulled and has probably one of the best developed midfaces out there
