I got one exactly just a few month before you and got all my facial definition from when I was a kid back (defined zygos, etc).

You should wear it for at least a year. It might feel a bit uncomfortable the first months, but you can just take aspirins temporarily, your mouth will adapt to it.

I don't know if it's gonna "Chadify" at all if you hit puberty at 12, but you should still get it if you can.
