It's why Jesus said pluck your eye out it's better to be blind than sin and go to hell. Sell all belongings.
He said it's easier for a camel eye of a needle than go to heaven
The apostles said "By God who caN be saved then?"
Jesus replied, "with man it's impossible; with God all things are possible."
Jesus was showing us God's perfect standard none of us can keep.
But He paid for our sins on the cross. With His Holy Blood.
All we must do is believe on Him and His payment. His Free Gift.
