Eye Area Aesthetic Failures: Soft Tissue Insufficiencies & Infraorbital Bone Subhumanities

There are 2 categories of undereye support subhumanities: (a) recessed infraorbital bones and (b) soft tissue insufficiency.

They look different and have different solutions—as a rule of thumb: bone recession is best solved with on-bone infraorbital implants, and soft tissue insufficiency is best solved with fillers, botox, fat grafts, and the like.

Some people have both types of undereye recession. Some people (such as Jordan Kale Barrett) have neither. Usually, the appearance of bad under-eye support is caused by poor bone projection and poor soft tissue padding together.

Would you rather have
  • trash undereye support and good bones
or
  • good orbital fat pads and trash orbital bones
?

one is fixable with a fat graft and cantho

Good thread bro

Having bones in the first place is easier, as you just need to fix the soft tissue with like u said fillers or fat graftings

Tyler maher for example has mediocre bones + mediocre soft tissue

His supraorbital bone is negatively tilted resulting in his negative hooding and his soft tissue is just normal
