That's the extreme. Buscemi is the worst of the worst. I really believe that someone with an average eye area and a godlike lower third can outslay someone with a good eye area and a not-so-bad lower third. I've seen it so many times.

Hmm whilst I do think that there's multiple aspects that make up beauty and attractiveness on someone (hairstyle, weight, grooming, fashion, etc.), but if we're speaking from a facial point of view, I would say that the eye area, too, is the most important thing. But not in the traditional sense....

After years of studying theories of beauty, cosmetic and aesthetic surgery, I have found that facial beauty is recognised sub-consciously by the formulaic proportions of how well the facial features harmonise with each other. Majority, if not nearly all, aspects of facial features can be changed, augmented, and altered with surgery - except for the distance in between the eyes. The distance between the eyes cannot ever be changed with surgery, makeup, or any other tools people use to alter their features.

There is a theory, called the Golden Ratio of Phi, that plastic surgeons and cosmetic doctors use to enhance and proportion the facial features of somebody. And this ratio is always used against the intercanthal distance of someone's eye. For example, the chin on a man should be the Phi of his intercanthal distance to a ratio of 1:1.618 - 1 being his eye distance, and his chin being 1.618 times wider than that.

That's why I believe having a positive, neutral, or negative canthal tilt is not the ultimate definitive marker of beauty. Instead, it's how well someone's facial features are proportionate to the distance in between the eyes.

(The only thing I can't stand is seeing excessive upper eyelid exposure - it doesn't look nice on anybody. Having this area treated with dermal filler can improve someone's look dramatically).
