We all talk about dark and light in eyes, but nobody seems to talk about “brightness”. I need to know how to make them brighter, I want my eyes to be more glaring and piercing to look at — more fierce.

Abstinence has traditionally been seen as strongly brightening up one's eyes. Slight change in iris color is not unheard of either. I have noticed such effect in myself. Tacitus wrote of Roman-era germanics, revealing how it was seen as a sign of weakness among them to become sexually active early, with the highest honours given to those who were latest. He wrote how no other people had as fierce eyes as the Germans.
