This might been said before or not even be true.
This is my opinion from seeing people irl maybe this doesn't fit PSL

But eye colour is cope
Thinking blue is better than brown but worse than green or any order of this.

Light blue mogs blue
Light brown mogs brown
Light green mogs green

Light brown mogs blue etc.

It's not the colour, but how light the colour
is.
The lightness makes the iris special (also limbal ring) not colour.

Yes blue does have the potential to be lighter than brown - remember potential not being

But it's all about how light the iris is not the colour

Highly agree, light brown amber eyes look way more striking than Zuckerturd blue.

I'd also argue that the skin to eye color contrast matters too. For example, my green/amber/light brown eyes stand out because I have pretty tanned skin. However, with a white guy with my eye color...it wouldn't look as striking.

Good point
Contrast overall is a very good feature

I doubt it, post examples.
Avoided pics beacuse they skew the statement
Wont find a person with one light brown eye and one dark blue

Otherwise other things as shape, skin tone, lashes, brows, other facial features will subconsciously impact the statement

Huh? Blue should automatically be lighter than brown or light brown because of the lack of pigment in the iris. Hence why it’s blue and not brown. Same goes for green, although green eyes do contain a bit of pigment.

The majority probaly
But some do have very light brown eyes
Others have very dark blue

Then maybe not literally lighter but looks lighter

Yes, some blue eyes do indeed look dark blue. Like this girl for example.

I’d still rather have dark blue than light brown since I could always just get STRŌMA to lighten up my eye color a bit.
Without having to change the whole color.

Those were probably amber eyes. Amber eyes are loaded with the yellow pigment lipochrome, which is also the pigment that causes green eyes.
But this:

will ultimately still never beat this:
1588123024657

That’s just the way it is.

Stroma is cope imo
Unless just to lighten and not change colour

Yeah you could argue this, but many girls still ignore light brown. It's all contrast. Light blue will stand out on very pale people. A see green colour is best for tanned skin.

it doesn’t matter if a brown eye is light, it’s still inferior to any other color. The darkest blue eye >>>>> the lightest brown eye imo, so I disagree with your theorem

However I also think it’s location based, if you live in a country with majority light eyed/ blue eyed then brown eyes may have appeal

All the results you posted in that thread aren’t the final result. The patients need more treatments in order to achieve a normal blue eye color. They’ve already been able to remove pigment from the eyes and show the blue color underneath so why wouldn’t they be able to make the whole eye blue without a speck of brown?
Yeah maybe
But it's still not for certain so already planning the procedure is cope imo

but in the end eye color barely even matters at all

No. How light your eyes are depends on how thick your stroma strands are.
The thicker the strands - the lighter your eye looks. The less thick - the darker it looks.
I myself actually don't have much melanin in my eyes (my mother has hazel-grey eyes and my father has dark blue eyes, and according to DNA tests and GEDmatch i'm not supposed to have much melanin in my eyes), however they look completely brown/black even because of thin my stroma strands are.

Which eye color do you have? Blue? Green? Hazel? Brown?

Well of course it depends on that, the color definitely does.
But for example here's a lithuanian girl who doesn't really have much melanin in her eyes, but they still look very dark/almost black because of the specificity of the strands.

You might already know her btw.

You’re right. It would (at least partially) explain why some people have lighter blue eyes than others.
