Eye contact

So I begun working at a fast food place recently and the menu is behind above me whenever people are ordering most of the time they don’t make eye contact when telling me their order or very slight during or after, same with my coworkers I look directly at them when they talk and they make eye contact temporarily then proceed to look away then make eye contact again. Sorry it’s very hard for me to understand social interactions and I would like to know if this is because I’m ugly or not. I can add more detail if anyone needs to come to a final conclusion.

So as an average to above average male when someone talks to them the other person maintains constant eye contact and doesn’t look away every so often? And when at the counter people are ordering they make slight eye contact initially then proceed to either look at the menu or somewhere else while ordering the food then I have to type the shit in on my iPad thingie. Should I look at one of my male coworkers who’s an MTN to see how people interact? Also could you send a video of a first person fov or like a secondary angle on how people look when ordering food at a fast food restaurant? Same with a video that shows how people interact more specifically eye contact that they have.

No it’s just very hard for me to have social interactions like I never understand if the problem is my looks or my inability to talk with people. Idk how to explain it but I don’t know how to act in public with communication wise and having a job hasn’t really helped

Yes I have friends irl. But I don’t really like hanging out with anybody I usually sit in my room and talk to myself in the mirror tbh.
