On the box it says don’t do it but I thought I’d give it a try and guess what it works great. You can’t use mascara because 1) it doesn’t last and imagine it dripping down your face in the rain for example and 2) it makes you look gay instantly for some reason, strange but it really is very different.
Anyway, brow dye lasts a few weeks and has a good effect. Just be very careful not to get that shit in your eyes but that goes without saying. On the first part of the hair it will have limited effect unless you don’t have dark hairs, but the tips will probably not be very dark. At least that’s how it is for me. So I just apply it to the ends of the hairs and it makes them look longer because they become more visible.
What I do is first with the eyes open you do the underside of the top lashes and top side of the bottom lashes. Then you close one eye so you can do the top part of the top lashes. Finally you have to do the underside of the bottom lashes which is the trickiest but it’ll work out. For me the box already came with this little applier thing for the eyebrows which I used for the lashes as well.
A tiny bit of dye may end up on your face but that’s ok you can wash it off don’t worry.
Next, wait like 30 minutes (the box says 10 but I wait longer just in case), then take some cotton pads or a paper towel and kind of dip it with water to wash off whatever didn’t stick. Then you’ll have nice lashes for a few weeks. I wash my face twice daily and it still stays on just fine.
The dye I used has two components which you mix beforehand then apply. Maybe there are others too but this is what I use.
Yes you can also use bimatoprost but it can cause orbital fat loss so I’m a bit reluctant with that. And of course you can use minox which I might try but there can be sides like bloating. This has very low risk just be careful when applying.
