Self-explanatory title. I recently had surgery to, among other things, lower my eyebrows. It might work, it might not, but if it doesn't I was wondering if it would be possible to simply use the upper half of my eyebrows as a donor area to augment the lower half, essentially bringing the eyebrows down? My eyebrows are extremely thick.

Anybody see this?

how is this surgery called?

It would be an eyebrow transplant, but the donor site would be another part of the eyebrow. Most people get eyebrow transplants because their eyebrows are too thin. That's not the case for me though. I just want them lower.

I didn't do an eyebrow transplant. I got customized periorbital rim augmentation with PEEK, and my eyebrows were lowered as part of the surgery. There's still a lot of swelling though, so I won't see the full results for at least a few more months.

Interesting, didn't know this was a possible result as well.

as for eyebrow hair transplants, afaik any hair can be transplanted to any area when it comes to non-scalp hair. I've even heard of people using those fine hair at your neckline into your eyebrows for density
