I saw a gay chad wearing them:
1) It was extremely obvious and feminine-looking
2) He probably wore them to signal to the female populace that he didn't their way of the pendulum. As a gay chad, he doesn't want any unnecessary attention from girls.
Basically, don't wear them if you're straight...
Stick to minox and maybe castor oil. Your lashes will grow but not to the point it makes you look gay.
