Eyelashes making me look like I have nct

So I have a neutral to a slight positive canthal tilt when I’m resting my eyes but in some photos and from far away my long ass lashes make my canthal tilt appear negative as it creates the illusion of a lower lateral canthus. Should I keep my long lashes even if they do this? Or should I trim them.
