Most East Asians have narrow, slender eyes with a positive canthal tilt. They could almost have the highly sought-after "hunter eyes," but the epicanthic fold ruins it. When looksmaxxing, though, Asians who want hunter eyes shouldn't get their epicanthic folds removed surgically, rather they should focus on the bone structure above and between the eyes.
One of the biggest bone differences between Asian and Caucasian side profiles is the nose bridge and brow ridge. The glabella, supraorbital rim, and nasal bridge are forward-projected in a Caucasian skull, while these structures are flat and recessed in an Asian skull.
Many Asian people get double eyelid surgery, but that doesn't make their eyes look like Caucasian eyes. The rare surgery called epicanthoplasty completely removes the epicanthic folds, but it doesn't result in a Chad-tier eye area. For Asians, the answer to getting attractive eyes has nothing to do with skin and everything to do with bone.
In Caucasian faces, the skin above and between the eyes is stretched forward by the brow ridge and the nose bridge. In Asian faces, since these bones are less forward, there's less surface area for the skin to cover. Because of this, the soft tissue below the eyebrows droops downward and conceals the upper eyelids, and the skin around the nasion spreads out horizontally and covers the medial canthi.
To demonstrate the dramatic difference bone structure makes, look at how my eye changes when I pinch the skin on my nasion:
Photo: The Asian eye's epicanthic fold disappears when the skin on the nose bridge is stretched forward.
(I know, my PFL is shit)
If you're Asian and you seriously want to get Caucasian-looking eyes, don't get double eyelid surgery or epicanthoplasty. Instead, get surgery of the supraorbital ridge, glabella, and nose bridge.
