I noticed something weird looking back at my old photos. A couple of years ago my eyes looked a lot bigger and wider, but in more recent photos they look smaller or narrower. I’ve had multiple comments from family members, friends etc, I’m convinced it’s not just in my head or angles anymore.

I should mention that I went through a big illness that left me basically bed bound for about a year. During that time, I was staring at screens all day, mostly looking down at the worst possible angle for my eyes/face. Could that kind of posture or strain actually make eyes look smaller over time?

I know my eye area is cooked already but I just want to look alert again. My eyes just look tired and small, not big and beady like they used to. Any help would be appreciated. Bearded is current, non goatee is past.

Correct, my eyes have gotten significantly smaller after screen usage for many years, they used to be really big but have gotten way smaller.

experienced the same. Eyes look smaller when i stare at screens for a long period of time.

Also developed slight myopia that way. Myopia gets a little better when I spend the day outdoors in sunlight for whatever reason

I'm actually curious why this happens and if it's reversable? although it has actually made my eye area look better since for men you don't want big googly eyes.

i used to have very big eyes as a kid now my eyes are so small whats the reason

You’re eyes aren’t actually smaller you just have bigger “eyebags” (under eye fat not actually eye bags I just don’t know how to phrase properly)

This probably was caused due to eye irritation (your case would be from screens.) and might be able to be fixed overtime from blue light glasses and spending more time outdoors

Screen time gave me ethnic eye area so I’m killing myself.
