It depends on what role you're talking about. They have different purposes.

For air dominance/long-range missions: F-15 is generally stronger.

For versatile roles and dogfighting agility: F-16 is better generally.

It's over for me. My geopolitical-opinions were part of a structure where Iran would be a dangerous adversary for USA aggression. Engaging in full-war would come at a serious cost for the USA.

I was expecting Iran to just mass-launch on civilian targets at some point though. Just launch everything against civil targets from countries which support US military.
So far Iran has shown restraint, maybe it will mass-launch against civilian targets from pro-USA countries in the future.

Honestly USA is insanely dominant, JFL at just bombing the shit out of a country you dont like whithout any real casualties.

We have some nukes in france, UK, china, etc. This is the only thing that is keeping the USA back.

I am from the netherlands and we are at war with the USA and nobody even knows it. Netherlands doesn't have it's own nukes, we need to get them ASAP.

USA overpowers anyone in convential military power. So my country (netherlands) needs nukes asap to guard it's own safety.

F-15 preserves a flawess record because its never been shot down by an ENEMY fighter, i.e air-to-air combat, and it probably never will because f-15 is a damn amazing fighter.

However note that if an f-15 gets shot down by iranian missles this isnt the first time its happened. f-15s have been shot down before by iraqi missles during the war in iraq

F-15 different role kinda, it's bigger and was meant to counter mig-25. It can carry hella missiles and can go Mach 2.3+, it can also carry lots of air to ground armament.

F-16 is a smaller fighter aircraft holds less missiles and is slower but is arguably better for close combat.

In short the f-15 is better but they're made for different roles sorta
