Maybe this is just my anecdotal experience of being on here, but too many people ignore the importance of body and hyperfocus on the face and height.
This is nonsensical. Why would women NOT care about body? Men care about women's bodies below the neck; why would women ignore your body?
A developed body is a symbol of sex appeal. Why WOULDN'T you care about this? Do you find women with the bodies of 12 year old boys attractive? No, because regardless of the face, the body has zero dimorphic characteristics. I was reading cope about Central Cee cheating on his "stacy" girlfriend for Ice Spice and how the latter is a sub5. The FORMER has ZERO SEX APPEAL. Are you telling me that this
is preferable to THIS?
If you do, you might need to seek help. Seek help immediately.
How can you even claim to care about looks if you're not holistic about improving your looks? Your body IS a part of how you look. The idea that only a handsome face and a 1+ standard deviation above average is good enough is bullshit.
Don't get me started with copes that deny the importance of the body from the neck down.
1. "If you have a bad frame, going to the gym is pointless!" This is a fallacy. You'll never look worse with an appreciable amount of muscle than skinny/obese. Not having arbitrary shoulder width does NOT mean you can't improve your physique. A hyporesponder is NOT a non-responder. Having poor genetics doesn't mean you can't improve your face.
2. "The first sign of attraction is in the face". Yeah, and that attraction could disappear in an instant when she sees your Jordan Barrett emaciated body.
3. "Gymcelling is cope." This is a false equivalence fallacy. Going to the gym =/=slaving away at the gym. You could do 2 sessions per week for less than 1hr. Do it. Start a program where you do one upper body and one lower body day. Do it for 2 months. Tell me nothing will happen. It will.
4. "Lean is law you don't need muscle". See Jordan Barrett example. This is Tails propaganda and it's a false dilemma fallacy. Nobody is saying to be FAT. You of COURSE need to be 8-12% body fat. With 15lbs of muscle added onto your frame. These are NOT mutually exclusive.
Again, how can you claim to be a looksmaxxer and deny a statistically significant proportion OF YOUR LOOKS? Nobody likes girls with who only have a pretty face and no sex appeal.
It's like the diet vs training false dilemma. There's no dilemma. Face matters. Height matters. So does body. No conflict here.
