Male attractiveness is largely about facial definition, facial leanness, angles and harmony. Body does matter, but it's more about being "not fat" as opposed to being jacked.

Whereas the opposite is true for females. A female with a HTB+ face and a LTB body is capped at MTB. Whereas a female with a MTB face and stacylite body is better and more attractive. If you have a stacylite face but no ass and no tits, you're not REALLY attractive. You're just a pretty face.

Body halo is KEY for females.

but even worse with narrower hips and skinnier and shorter legs

Men generally prioritize facial attractiveness for longterm relationships, based on most data available.
For low effort/investment short term casual sex, then yes, body might matter more. Hell, even that is optional, since if it's free and no cost, a lot of men are willing to fuck way below their standards anyway.
