Got the same problem its normally due to assymetries in other parts of the body but have not found a solution sadly

Everyone has asymmetry and it always looks worse on up close phone selfies, especially in that kind of lighting

This. Asymmetry is not that big of a deal as long as you have attractive features. Plenty of top tier models have some form of Asymmetry but are just fine because of there lower third and hunters.
