Face IQ Labs just rated my profile higher than Gandy, O'Pry, and Barrett. Is this software a joke?

I manually mapped my side profile on Face IQ Labs using precise pixel placement for the landmark dots to ensure the tracking was completely accurate. The software uses 35 mathematical ratios to calculate its facial harmony score, and the outputs create a total paradox when compared to the platform's standard benchmarks:

I did NOT use the automated scanner. I made sure to use the images and place every dot PERFECTLY

  • Scan 1 (Baseline): Scored a 9.07 (Top 0.004%), placing the geometric alignment above the recorded scores for Sean O'Pry, David Gandy, and Jordan Barrett.
  • Scan 2 (Optimized): After adjusting the parameters slightly to account for minor structural alignment, the score shifted to a 9.8 (Top 0.00006%). (2 degree lower gonial angle, thicker brow ridge, slightly deeper mentolabial fold, a TINY rhinoplasty, increased upper forehead projection)
Given how strictly the algorithm calculates these specific ratios, what does a result like this actually mean? Is the software's formula fundamentally flawed when analyzing real-world frameworks, or are these metrics an accurate representation of profile harmony?

Let's look at the data objectively. Serious responses only.

(second screenshot dot placements for the first one, fourth screenshot dot placements for the "9.8" profile.)

Yes, his software is a joke. You look good but I wouldn't say you're a 9. Only recorded 9's in history are Hexum, Drago and maybe Bomer

Fair enough, but if the software is a joke, which specific ratio is it overvaluing? does that mean the algorithm weights alignment over raw bone density?

Why would you think a primal retard make a good software

It’s probs just doing it to hook you

It is known on here that faceIQ is a fucking joke. Your better off measuring out your own ratios and harmony for a more accurate rating. He has too many misc ratios that come into account and poor weights between them.

That makes sense. If the weighting between the 35 ratios is poor, it’s likely over-indexing on standard angularity profile lines rather than calculating absolute mass and forward growth. But if manual tracing bypasses the auto-glitches, what do you reckon is the actual, unweighted baseline tier here?

If you want an accurate rating system this one is good but you have to do all the ratios yourself.

can't be fucked doing that, can you just give me an estimate?

It does for the free tier, changing some of the ratios improved my score dramatically
