I don't understand why people overhype the importance of face so much. Yes it's important but body is also extremely important.
The reason why face is such an advantage, is merely because there is a lower supply of good face guys vs good body guys. Laws of supply and demand thus dictate that a guy with a good face is more likely to attract attention, but that's merely because of rarity. Think of it as being like a BBC in a country that has almost no BBCs: Even if BBC isn't considered objectively better you would still be likely to get laid simply because there is low supply vs demand.
But this doesn't make face objectively more important than body. You can have 5/10 face and still have sex appeal if you are 6.4ft tall with a herculean frame. The reason gymcelling is cope for most people is merely that they have shit foundation/frame in the first place. You can have 8/10 face but if you're short and weak looking it will massively drag down your appeal.
EDIT: And for women, I would argue that body is just straight up MORE IMPORTANT. A girl can have good face but still fail to arouse me if she has the body of a child. The same is not true the other way around however, in that a woman can have a mediocre face but still be sexy to me if she has a great body with big tits.
