Basically you take the face (including the tongue if you want jfl) (allograft) from a cadaver, making sure all the muscles and arteries are unaltered.

Then they move the allograft to the other operating room where the recipient has already been taken care of. There, they attach the allograft to the recipient's facial bones, the nerves are repaired/positioned correctly and the blood vessels are connected and then they adjust into stitch the skin to fit nice & smooth.
