Hes probably one of the only guys who is literally scientific in the whole diet bubble. It doesnt make sense to use epidemiology or blue zones to extract a valuable form of diet out of. Looking at cause and effect, real biochemical processes and double-blind placebo studies (and not some "many healthy people eat this so must be good" shit that misses or bluntly ignores 3000 cofactors) is the only way. Doing the inverse is quite frankly retarded.

I dont think that he claims primal is the only way or what not. Its just that its the most optimal in a system that has adapted towards that process for millenia and switched up 12k years ago because our brain became a lil too "good" for our own health. Evolution drives leans towards minimal effort. The idea that you can cultivate stuff is something that was inaccessible. It wasnt an evolutionary driver of our organs or our system because it literally wasnt there.

Switching up on a body that is naturally adapted towards something is maladaptive.
