It’s saying some asian girl (24y.o.) got not only mse but facepulling to solve her class 3 occlusion (underbite) without lefort 1 (she refused of surgical method) and 2 years after she indeed got her maxilla moved forward (but some molars remained on previous place so not a perfect result still sounds better then cutting of the part or even whole face with lefort 1, 2, 3 she even got a zygos protection).

If anyone already familiar with this case? Please share some thoughts or experiences?

Haven’t even heard of this one before (only bimax) searched and found some brutal results like 30mm growth… well I guess facepulling can give you like 2-3, mb 4 at best…

Btw seems like trimax moves maxilla’s lower part - nit the best solution overall, especially if you are lack of undereye support and cheekbone definition or nose definition and etc

I researched this kinda stuff a long time ago. The 2 main problems:

- Asymmetry is common. I'm talking pretty bad asymmetry.
- Big risk of relapse

Then there's fact it only gets offered to people with severe issues. I've never seen a case where an average looking person gets it done.

Yeah, was thinking of asymmetry to, think it’s really hard to control and was searching if cases where maxilla’s anchors connected to mandibles’s anchors or to external thing like a face mask delivers better results in case of symmetry but actually found nothing, if you know something about it?

Yeah there is a case of relapse but searching I found it’s pretty mild (like you can get 4mm and then lose 1, but anyway you getting 3mm, based on most cases I found it’s like 20-30%, not the worst case)

And yeah, I believe it’s gonna be hard to get surgery while you have light-to-moderate case, hmm, there is a real problem (especially in my country as I found there are only 2, mb 3 doctors performing something like that).

Actually, after some additional research I believe the best case is to combine SARPE + BAMP for both horizontal and forward projection with the best results and least relapses
