If our evolutionary preferences became pretty much set in stone, say 10,000 years ago, with relatively little variation since then, why does facial angularity matter? 10,000 years ago, wouldn't mfs have bears that covered the entirety of their chin/jaw? Wouldn't this leave out the importance of facial angularity? No way UGG UGG had a 2 gar razer and was shaving daily.

by that logic having a severely recessed mandible and nonexistent chin shouldn't be failos either but they obviously are

also it's not like you spawn out of the womb with a beard, your facial aesthetics still matter before you're old enough to grow one

ALSO preferences are not set in stone and are massively influenced by culture. that's why women in east asia worship androgynous twinks with shaved off facial bones who would have been useless 10,000 years ago

also including the fact that angularity is usually just a matter of lighting in shadows in terms of the shadows that are casted and that can drastically change depending on the lighting

very angular faces online don't appear as impressive in video media for that reason and it's the same thing with striking faces in real life so you do have a point

however angular features like prominent cheekbones, and a robust chin/jaw are pretty ideal meaning that well developed faces are generally pretty angular

either way its the lowest ranking pillar for a reason

for the beard point, looking like an ogre isnt ideal either . . . we want to be aesthetic not cavemen

hold on now I wouldn't say it's exactly the lowest ranking region
