facial convexity angle is complete cope and we need to throw it in the trash.

take a hypotheitcal individual with no brow ridge, flat maxilla and recessed chin, they will have all three points line up "ideally" at around 175 degs. Eventhough they will be extremley recessed they will have high convexity angle, meanwhile forwardly grown individuals with good maxillas that project infront of their browridge will have a smaller, "less ideal" angle of like 165 ish.
Ive seen this happen multiple times, this convexity angle BS needs to be thrown in the trash it does not determine recession at all. Matter of fact people with more "ideal" convexity angles tend to be more recessed.

i mean convexity is just one way of measuring recession, nobody should treat it as the one measurement that determines it.

though recession is relative to the other parts of the face so the convexity is still useful

also its not like prognathism makes a good profile lol the measurement is all about whether the flatness of ur profile is ideal
