Facial hair question for my fellow UK ethnics

Whenever I see young Punjabi’s (Indian and Pakistani) on Insta or IRL, obviously most have facial hair for the SMV boost.

However I’m noticing that they shape their moustache in a way that makes it thinner and longer i.e. they shape the top bit.

I tried this the other day and am liking it, anyone else do this and does it make you look better?

I live in a white area but is this common with ethnics in Birmingham, Leicester, etc?

But if you mean they make the moustache thinner than it is naturally

They most likely go to a black barber
Black barbers when lining beards always make the moustache thin

Kind of looks shaped tbh

My moustache naturally goes all the way up and doesn’t have a straight line on top like these guys.

Makes my face look weird when I grow out the moustache but ever since I’ve shaped the top it looks better, do you know the reason for that?

Alot of guys alot disconnect their moustache and their cheeks intentionally too tbh

I dont think it makes that much of a difference in the big picture

But it does give you a different "vibe" I guess

Looking at the pics again they definitely did shape the top of their moustache, it’s not that straight on top naturally.

Highly doubt they’re Indian but in U.K. especially, most young ethnics have this sort of facial hair. It definitely increases your SMV.

- Gymmaxxed
- Lean
- NT + British accent

I personally don’t know that many as l’ve lived in a white area my whole life. But from stories, friends, cousins, etc ive heard that ethnics slay in ethnic areas (Birmingham, Leicester, etc). Even on here there’s plenty of examples of ethnics slaying. If you’re gl enough you could also slay in white areas.

Like me for example i pass as Latino, a girl approached me at weekend in Spanish asking if I'm Latino jfl but I'm pretty much clean shaven now as face is lean

I would say though in UK most people do associate south Asians with a beard tbh

As long as the line isn’t TOO sharp it’s good imo
