From a looksmaxing perspective, facial scarring isn’t always a straight failo: research suggests that minor scars on men can act as a situational halo, slightly boosting short-term SMV by signaling dominance and risk-taking traits which is preferred by women when seeking a shorterm partner however, this only applies to small, well-placed scars since large or uncanny scars reduce attractiveness.

This is bit of a niche idea but scarmaxing or giving yourself a small scar may give you a tiny boost in your smv.

You need to be attractive for it to work as a halo, and the scar has to fit your archetype. So giving yourself a scar probably isn't a good idea for most users
