Introduction
Thread Music
People often ignore how symmetrical their face is and how much it matters when it comes to looks and how people perceive you in real life
Facial symmetry plays a significant role in social perception, rooted heavily in evolutionary biology and cognitive psychology. While it impacts initial subconscious judgements, its actual importance in overall real-world attractiveness is often balanced by other visual and social factors in the real word.

Why is symmetry important?
How does facial symmetry work?
How can I fix it?
Is it a more important factor than others?
Why is symmetry important;
Facial symmetry is primarily important from an evolutionary psychology perspective because it serves as a reliable biological indicator of genetic quality and overall health. Throughout human evolution, individuals naturally began to pick out mates who displayed signs of general health and developmental stability, as these traits suggested stronger immune systems and better survival fitness.
How does facial symmetry work;
Facial symmetry refers to how closely the left and right halves of a human face mirror each other. While no human face is perfectly symmetrical, a higher degree of balance between features (eyes, cheekbones, nose, and mouth) is generally perceived as more symmetrical.
How can I fix it?
I will list some ways you could avoid BEING asymmetrical or to not be AS asymmetrical.
- Maintaining normal sleeping and chewing habits in your day to day life
- Mewing and keeping your posture straight (most of the time, you dont have to look like a robot all of the time)
DENTAL AND ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENTS
-Braces and aligners, only needed if you have teeth issues.
-Jaw Surgery (Orthognathic Surgery)
DERMATOLOGICAL CHOICES
- Botox
- Dermal filler( Hyaluronic acid )
- Fat grafting
SURGERY OPTIONS
-Genioplasty or implants
- Rhinoplasty
SINCE I DIDN’T MENTION COMMON SURGERY NAMES
JAW REALIGNMENT
RHINO(Already mentioned)
BLEPHAROPLASTY
ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT
FACE LIFT AND NECK LIFT
CHEEKBONE REDUCTION
BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL
Studies for asymmetry you could read on your own time
One for copers with crazy asymmetry

One for aging people with asymmetry
