TDLR:

When administering exogenous HGH:

  • Avoid being on a cut
  • Maintain relatively normal E2 levels
  • Keep an healthy bodyweight
  • Never go 4-5 months without taking a break

Disclaimer:

This thread is essentially copied from a much smarter guy named Type-llx from MesoRX.
This is the original thread. He’s really smart and should check out his other threads on that website!

Introduction:

In this thread, I will be regurgitating the information from the original thread and we’ll be explaining and analyzing the main factors that effect our response to growth hormone administration.

The Factors:

  1. Caloric restriction

Dieting of any kind (even slight caloric deficits) modifies how strongly we’ll respond to growth hormone therapy. When you are fasted, you are in a negative energy balance, weakening how long IGF-1 levels and insulin will prevail post injection of exogenous HGH.

  1. Low and high estrogen

Having both low or high estrogen negatively will effect your response to growth hormone. As low estrogen overall leads to lowered IGF-1 and high estrogens will worsen your direct response to exogenous HGH.

  1. Duration of Use

4-5 months of continuous use of exogenous growth hormone leads to a worsened response to exogenous HGH. As your body will eventually normalize and your growth hormone receptor (GHR) begins to become desensitized.

  1. Being Overweight

Higher fat masses are known to significantly decrease the effectiveness of exogenous HGH administration. This decreased effect is caused by fat’s metabolic suppression on endogenous HGH.

  1. Liver Function

75% of our IGF-1 production derived from our liver. If your liver function is subpar, your response to exogenous growth hormone will be subpar as well since the IGF-1 that you supposed to be gaining WOULDN'T metabolize as efficiently.

The Hard Truth:

Well, the hard truth about exogenous HGH usage is that its effect on serum IGF-1 isn’t linear. Meaning that there are people there who will not respond at all to exogenous HGH, regardless of quality or quantity. And if you see insignificant alterations to your IGF-1 from exogenous HGH, you will likely never be a great responder to any form of growth hormone boosters.

Conclusion:

The big takeaway is to avoid being on a cut, maintain relatively normal E2 levels, be at an healthy bodyweight, and take breaks when administering exogenous HGH.

How much aromasin and how often would u recommend for someone who’s baseline e2 is 20 nl/ dl for it to be in a healthy range without being to high and closing plates

I’d recommend 12.5 MG EOD. If you are scared of possible low e2 side effects, try out 6.25 MG EOD.

However, 25MG of Aromasin suppresses e2 by around 38% in men, meaning that lower dosages will be slightly less, so around 30% I’d assume

Ok thanks

How can we test liver function?

How can we test liver function?
Get a general blood test. It’s usually always tested for in majority of blood tests.

Check for your liver enzymes then after check for things that generally effect the liver like bilirubin, albumin, and prothrombin time.

Is there a supplement that covers all the liver enzymes and is it dangerous to take supplements when your liver enzymes are fine? It’s hard to get a blood test in the uk since the doctors are so overworked and cannot really afford to give you unneeded healthcare since healthcare is free

Its to 38% right?

4 weeks on , 2 weeks off. 5 days on 2 days off. 6 weeks then 3 weeks. A roughly 2:1 ratio works.

Well, i wouldn’t really say it’s dangerous to take liver supplements when your enzymes are fine but the purpose of many of them is to detox your liver. Detoxing anything that’s healthy seems like it can be potentially dangerous you know.

Something like TUDCA and milk thistle can be useful but I don’t know if it’ll provide additional benefit

Idk if these stats are accurate tbh. I took 12.5 mg for like a week and crashed my e2 to <5 ng/dl. Idk what my baselines were but I’d say you should just have test your own experiences with different doses

I've had other people get very low e2 on asin so I don't think these stats are uniform.

Mirin tldr being on top of thread

so should i check my estradiol, testosterone, and liver?

Are you on anything that would shutdown hpta? I seriously doubt you crashed e2 if you aren't taking anything else.

Im taking carbamazepine prescription as an aed but when checking the drug interactions apparently it decreased asin absorption. It does decrease sex hormones but I’m not sure enough to get me to that <5 level
