Fade haircut

i dye my hair brown (im dark blonde naturally) and i want shorter sides tbh

im thinking messy fringe like this with a
fade then trim the growth myself every week with a 3mm hair clipper

would that work or do i have to re-dye my hair?

This guy has a nice hairstyle but i dont have dark hair on sides like him

I have booked a hair stylist on monday ngl i will do a short messy fringe with faded sides i think.

like i said since I have dyed my hair, can i cut the sides myself every week with a hair clipper

You’d look good with a fade.

I’d say first get a fade that isn’t too high up and also doesn’t go down to skin.

Honestly man, go for it. If you're feeling brave, opt for a mid-line skin fade. Shorter sides can accentuate the angularities and sharp features of the face - especially the cheekbones; which can be quite aesthetically pleasing.

I would only be hesitate to do this if you had protruding ears - since having shorter or faded sides can exacerbate this.

You only know until you try.

And even if it fails, it's only hair. It'll grow back in a week or two.
