Abstract:
Halos are features/mannerisms/qualities that one possesses to make them appear more appealing to the target person they want to attract. Be it friends, colleagues or romantic relationships.
Certain halos can be falios dependent on the perspective of the one being attracted and the attracted individual.
( I will refer to them (attracted indivual in indent above) as TI, or "target individual" for the remainder of this post.)
Example: Having high IQ and a tendency to rant on about passionate topics would attract colleagues interested in similar subjects (Favorable TI.) Whereas it would be unattractive to a dumb becky who just wants a chad to rape them and pay for her manipedi (Unfavorable TI.) However in this manner we can see certain falios can be overpowered by halos, such as the recent trend of becky's wanting a "nerdy boy" but really just want a cutecel in glasses.
(I will not be exploring further on this effect as its extraneous to the paper but am open to exploring it later on another post.)
Hypothesis:
One can use their apparent falios (once softmaxxed) to manufacture a social personality that would make your social/physical falios into halos. Would be a free PSL hack for those who would be unfavorable for certain hardmaxxes. (This concept, which i will coin as FHC (Falio to Halo Conversion) is extremely dependent on the TI and long term appearance, and requires high iq in a very social environment.)
Disclaimer: I am not trying to sell you code-switching, which is a short term unstable practice that will fuck you. the idea of this (FHC) in simplicity is as follows:
changing your behavioral mannerisms / physical uniquities (of which are often falios) into favorable ones based on trying to appeal evenly to the most common people you will interact with, or a General TI. (GTI)
Application:
In terms of mannerisms, the best already prevalent falios in personality are remedied by having high PSL beforehand, think Barett being/acting socially incompetent in his 2025 interview to appear more innocent to his GTI after his buccal fat removal surgery, see here. However, with physical features, a large majority of looksmaxxers are trying to ascend using the same ideas as other mass-minded people instead of first improving their own falios and haloing the others. This is most easily done as leaning into an archetype/phenotype. For example: taking ones soft, effeminate features and leaning into them, becoming a cutecel instead of trying to become more androgenic. This idea of leaning into an archetype is easily applicable to basically anyone dependent on how much they look fem - masc but can mainly be done through changing ones coloring based on what ethnic phenotype they most represent. (For example: someone who looks more white-mediterranean coloring and using mannerisms to appear more ethno-nordic but in reality is a mexican, this is my personal use of FHC.) In honesty this will be the core way for most people to do this.
Conclusion:
This concept has likely been done unintentionally or intentionally by many in the past but to my knowledge has not seen much light. Regardless of any actual application the idea of appealing to a TI or GTI will be an extremely potent way to prioritize ones softmaxxing and socialmaxxing/cold approaches.
