Why is my family so against me having surgery?

Me wanting to get bimax =I am depressed

Normal people don’t care about looks= I am crazy

uncles low iq wife gets surgery = I am low IQ about surgery

Family says that I’ll be like her and continue getting surgeries when I won’t . I won’t jaw surgery and that’s it . Literally the most normie hardmax that is accepted by the orthodontists that they cry to.

Just very simply choose between;

(a) not getting surgery, staying how you look, and your family giving you no feedback either positive or negative

Or (b) getting surgery, probably looking better, and your family talking shit about you

Now just choose your answer and move on.

It isn’t an easy decision with a clear cut answer, it depends on what you want.

It is a difficult decision and you must accept that and that there will be positives and negatives no matter your decision.

What I have realised, when the results are good they always accept it in the end.

The thing with reconstructive surgery is that you are moving your face into it's correct position so it's the real you. Unlike plastic surgery which changes features I.e. foxy eyes ect.

I wouldnt tell them it's for cosmetic reasons they will give you the most automatic npc response "just love yourself" or "you don't need it". Remember they see anything cosmetic related in men the same as Michael Jackson or Rodrigo alves.

I also need a bimax, but here in my country there's a law that every health insurance have to cover the bimax surgery, because its more a health surgery than a cosmetic(improvment of the airways, sleep apnea and etc). But so far, none of the showcases convinced me, the patients goes from sub 3 to sub 4, there's also the possibility of permanent numbness of the whole lowerthird incluing the lips(never feeling a kiss ever again, but it dont matter for a incel like me) and pain in the atm.

I think the risks for nerve damage are way overblown. Most likely in my opinion it would be slight nerve damage which I think the majority of people would still live with after a bimax. I read that over 80% of people who get orthognathic surgery are happy and would do it again if they had to. It is no doubt the best hardmax and the foundation for hardmaxxing for the more users here. Best advice would be to carefully pick the people who split you open

I agree, even thought i'm a little afraid, i'm still planning to have the bimax surgery and a mere nerve damage would be a small price to pay for a good night's sleep, i have 23 years and i dont remember one single time that i sleeped with my back, the apnea always wokes me up, this really annoys me because when i'm lying in my back in the bed its comfortably asf, but when i got sleepy i always have to turn to the sides or sleep with my stomach and i always woke up with back pain, and of course the looks increase benefit, i'm recessed asf.
