But the whole game feels like one big side quest and doesn't even feel in an open world.

I thought it was going to be an ark Combined with the best of Far Cry

Or a survival game like Minecraft combined with The Last of Us

everybody will glaze 3 because of the antagonist or 5 becasue its newer but tbh 2 has the best setting out of all of them.

You feel that you are in a war torn country where you don't pretend to be a hero and just make the dirty work for corrupt factions who make it blatant that they don't care for peace since the conflict benefits them more.

The gunfight is raw, you actually have to use cover so do your opponents and they do have good aim, no minimap so you have to use the a real map to commute in the wilderness.

Its Ubisoft's first try at Far Cry series so it just set the grounds for the next games and might feel rough around the edges especially because it's age shows that it's hostile towards modern audiences with it's mechanics also the main story is visceral but still my fav far cry to date(played 2,3,5)
