Fashion is overrated.
When you watch a fashion show, the clothes are almost always modeled by HTN+ or Chad-level people. The brands are basically selling the illusion that if you buy those expensive clothes, you’ll look just as attractive.
But the reality is that you aren’t them. Those models could wear a plain black Zara T-shirt with white H&M pants and still look good because their facial features and physique are doing most of the work.
Meanwhile, a lot of people especially those who obsess over designer brands spend thousands on clothes expecting them to transform their appearance, when in reality the clothes can only do so much.
