I’m thinking to go for either 96 (4 full days), 100 or beyond. I’m thinking beyond, but nothing too crazy. Like 6 hours or whatever. We’ll see.

I didn’t do it for any anti-aging purposes, I did it for weight-losing purposes. I went from ~69 kg to 62,5 kg now. :) My goal was successful. But you’re right, I was reading posts online in fasting-related spaces and they were talking about how great it is for anti-aging, cell restoration, etc. But these weren’t stuff I cared for. :p

I’m glad it worked for you, don’t go over board as you might ruin your metabolism but I’m sure your body will adjust back to normal bhai.

Yes, I’ve almost gone down to my pre-ramadan weight (I was around 62 kg like 61.7 kg, then after Ramadan 69 kg, now 62,5 kg). What’s important now is maintenance, and avoiding overeating.

I haven’t logged in for over 16 hours, give it take. It wasn’t me. Why do people falsely accuse me of things without asking first if I even did something! :feelswah:

I heard it makes u lose fat really fast, ressurects your immune system and organs by clearing out all bad shit that was there for years making it brand new. True?

Maintenance is the key it has gotten people somewhere in the weight loss journey. I am just afraid to go over 15% bf and lose ab definition

Thank you bhai, yes I won’t be doing this for much longer. Either this will be my last time or my second to (my phone died at this point, lol) last time, in which case I’ll take a little break in-between, but we’ll see.

Feeling normal! I did 113 hours before I started this fast, started the next fast (this one) on the same day. Maybe I should do 114 hours this time. :feelsyay:

I definitely lost weight quickly in the beginning, 2 lbs per day on my first fast. Now it’s super slow in comparison, I lose 1 lb per day. Yes, waterfasting or dryfasting would start autophagy but I’ve been consuming some calories, so I am unable to enter that state since I drink chai (milk has calories) and strawberry milk sometimes.

Yes, I already lost 25 kg last year (April/May - end of October) and I maintained that well until March 2025, because of Ramadan, and I gained ~7 kg, so I had to get rid of that which is why I started these fasts. I’m also almost back to my pre-Ramadan weight but I would need to lose some more because I’ll easily gain it back if I eat regularly again. :hnghn:

Are you a practicing muslim?
Sort of. I stay away from major sins (pre-marital sex, dating, alcohol, gambling, I eat permissible food), but I don’t pray (which is what separates a believer from a non-believer, and thus I am worse than most muzzies who despite doing major sins also pray).

It doesn’t go slow, but my days are longer. I don’t sleep much when I fast. Good luck with waterfasting! Nice, 20 hours! You’re almost 1/3rd into your goal. You got this! But yes, it’s definitely boring not being able to eat but it also builds willpower and self-control. Make sure to take your electrolytes! I don’t do it myself but it’s what every faster is supposed to do. Electrolytes are magnesium, potassium and sodium, if you don’t take these it will be a lot more difficult to fast.

Yeah, Ramadan 24/7 for 235 days a year. That is how you achieve that body
You’re not allowed to fast so much, I think. Only if you’re making up for broken fasts.
