You faggot teens need to understand that fasting only (if ever) can be good if you have decent amount of muscle with fat. I'm reading 20 days of water fasting etc. jfl

Yeah water fast is probably dumb, but intermittent fasting is very legit. It allows you to burn fat and preserve muscle. You burn more fat with intermittent fasting than without it, even if you eat the same amount of calories.

No bro it is much easier to do OMAD, you eat like a pig for 1 hour and no sugar drops 24/7 and OMAD and IF have been shown to increase your metabolism and HGH as well

stop with this "muh calories in and out", not only that this is only half of the story, its really fucking hard mentally to lose weight
when you eat a high ratio of carbs and have a few meals a day, if it as that simple then 95% of diets wouldn't fail

and water fasting has benifits, but long ones can hurt you long-term, and with OMAD or IF you still get all of the vitamins and proteins daily

Prolonged fasting for fat loss and to stay lean is dumb as fuck, yes, but fasting in general isn't. It promotes cell regeneration, reduces inflammation, upregulates autophagy and the ubiquitin proteasome system, which is involved in the removal/degradation of intracellular waste.

Intermittent fasting is best imo, you get the benefits of both calorie restriction and fasting and you can do it long term

Is 16/8 fasting good? I am thinking about skipping breakfast altogether and just have two meals at 3 PM and 22 PM.
