fasting miracle or pubescent growth spurt? (i am probably 6'1 after 6 months)

ive been taking supplements every day including zinc, ive been having several days eating very little / fasting. when i first got here my dad and i stood face to face in terms of height.. now i am clearly taller and can see the top of his head when we both stand. im 19 so i think these sort of spurts arent supposed to happen but i was proven wrong. i was researching that fasting does release hgh so maybe this is legit

did you have any facial hair/ body hair before you grew? When did you hit puberty? Race?

I grew 3 inches from ages Late 17-19 some people grow later, I was one of the shortest kids in highschool till the last year

I grew after 20. Not sure if it was me fixing my posture only or actual growth. But i look at photos from me in 2012 i was then 18 and i definately look taller now based on those pictures
