Was wondering if anyone here had experience w fat redistribution for hollow under eyes.

Is it any better or worse than a fat transplant? I can and will research but someone’s first hand experience would be nice.

Or just a link to a thread? Ty

Fat redistribution moves existing under-eye fat pads into the area which is more hollow. This is best if you have both eye bags and that 'hollow' appearance.

Fat grafting adds new fat from elsewhere, and is best when the issue is volume loss without extreme fat bags.

Surgeons usually combine them. Repositioning will usually make more a difference for eyebags.

If you only have hollows, fat grafting is usually what will be discussed in terms of procedure. If you have bags sitting above a hollow, surgeons will favour a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning.

It's not "which is better" it's dependant upon what anatomy is causing it.
