Also the older the parents are the more likely you are to be assymetricalNo. It is mostly selection bias. Attractive men can reproduce when they are young and poor with the youngest and most attractive women. Unattractive men have to wait till they are older and have enough resources to attract a woman who will reproduce with, and then the women that will reproduce with them are older and on average less attractive.
